Flowers for Mum

Flowers for Mum

Hello, Deborah here with you this morning. I’ve made a card for my mum. She’s had a real hard time since January and she does like to get pretty cards.

I made a top folding A2 card in bright yellow cardstock. I used the Quilted Card Front die plate to cut a pattern into the card base. I stamped the two-step Hello Wishes floral image onto a piece of white card. I stamped the flowers first and then lined up the leaf image and stamped in green ink. I used a brush to add darker ink to some of the leaves. I also added red and orange to some of the flowers using the small solid flower image and over stamped the pink flowers. I used the Simply You scallop edge die to cut out the panel. The greeting comes from Hello Wishes, however, I changed it by cutting off the word ‘hope’ and stamped in black ink. I adhered the finished panel to the front of the card and added some crystal gems.

Inside the card I used the Simply You die to cut a white panel and used the word dies to cut out the sentiment. I finished by adding a simple flower.

That’s all from me today. Hope everyone is keeping safe and well. See you next week.

Deborah, x
