Happy Bee-Day

Happy Bee-Day

Hey, Terri here! I am super excited to share my card with you today as I had so much fun making it and I'm so pleased with how it turned out. Let's jump in and take a look.

I started by stamping my chosen images from the High Five Stamp Set onto 80lb super smooth cardstock using a black alcohol marker friendly ink, I then fussy cut them and set them aside.

Next I started working on the background, I cut a piece of the yellow paper from the Watercolor Wishes 6x6 Paper pad using the largest of the Small Stitched Rectangle Dies. I then used the Honeycomb Backdrop Die to cut a piece of acetate to create a stencil.

I used this along with some making tape to create a hexagonalshape to stencil through, I used No 2 Pencil Ink and Pumpkin Spice Ink. I also added some white and dark brown inky splatters.

To create the die cut letters I used Henry's ABCs Dies to cut 3 times from thick white card. I adhered two layers together and then set about ink blending using a combination of LemonadeNo 2 Pencil and Pumpkin Spice Ink. I then added the 3rd die cut as a drop shadow layer and topped with Glossy Accents.

I stamped the sub sentiments from the High Five Stamp Set onto white cardstock using balck ink. Now it was time to put it all together. I started by adding the sentiments and then adding the images, lastly I added some tiny black gems.

I hope you like the card as much as I do.
