Lots of Love
Morning! Hope you all had a good week. Mine’s been busy and I completely forgot that last Monday was Valentine’s Day and I didn’t have a card for my wonderful hubby. So, while Jonathan was busy at work in his office downstairs, I pulled together a quick Valentine card for him:
I started by making an A2 note card from dark aqua card. I used the new Concord & 9th Stitched Heart Card Front die to cut the heart pattern into some pale aqua card. I trimmed the panel to be slightly smaller than the note card and adhered it to the card. I used the Say Thanks die to cut a large speech bubble in white card which I added to the card with dimensional tape. I stamped the bold ‘love you’ sentiment from Big on You in black ink on pale yellow card. I heat embossed the greeting and cut it out with the matching Big on You die. I added the greeting to the speech bubble and finished the front with a little ‘1,000,000’ speech bubble from Say Thanks Turnabout stamp which I’d previously stamped in black and embossed, I cut out several of the smaller speech bubbles with the matching dies. I added a small dark aqua heart over the full stop at the end of the greeting. I also added lots of shimmer to all the little hearts.
Inside the card, I cut a piece of white card slightly smaller than the base note card. I added a sentiment from Big on You along with another of the little speech bubbles and another little heart from the Big on You die set.
