Mini Christmas Thank You Notes

Mini Christmas Thank You Notes

Hi everyone, Ruby here.

I love to send my friends little 'card packs' as presents. I will often create a pack of Christmas cards at the beginning of December that they can send to their friends and family. They go down a storm.

This year, I decided to make some mini Christmas thank-you notes. I wanted a simple design that could be created quickly, as my time is limited right now.

I thought Altenew's Woven Heart Die and The Greetery's Crimped Notecard Die would be perfect for this. (I really need to use this gorgeous die more; it's so useful).

Here's how to make it:

  1. Die cut the card base using The Greetery's Notecard Die in Concord & 9th's Juniper Cardstock. Score down the centre to create the folded notecard.

  2. Using the Woven Heart Die and the pattern die for the top of the heart, die cut one half of the heart using Concord & 9th's Poppy Cardstock, and the other half with white cardstock. Note: You can omit the pattern die if you prefer.

  3. Next, die cut and adhere a small panel of silver glitter cardstock to add behind the pattern die on both sides of the heart.

  4. Die cut a small white square and attach it to the centre of the juniper card base. Attach the heart to the square.

  5. Die cut one bow from silver glitter cardstock and another from juniper cardstock. I used The Greetery's Christmas Pudding Die, which is currently out of stock, but you can use The Greetery Figgy Pudding Bow Topper Die and cut off the bottom tab to adapt it.

  6. Stamp the sentiment 'Just a note' using The Greetery's Curio Label Stamp Set.

  7. Die cut the sentiment using the tiny banner from The Greetery's Curio Divider Die.

  8. Attach the sentiment to the middle of the heart and add some gems to finish.

Top Tip: When using the notecard die, run it through your machine twice so that the score line is well indented. You'll see on mine that I managed to crush the lovely crimped edge, but sadly, I didn't have time to make it all over again, so had to leave it. By running it through twice, you'll avoid this happening.

I think these would make great little notecards for any time of year. Just switch up the colours to create something a bit different.

People always seem to love receiving these little 'card packs' as pressies. Give it a go yourself.

Happy crafting!
