Mistletoe.. but not as you know it!
Sending flowers is a lovely thought and even easier when they're made of card/paper so they will last. How about creating them by using a Christmas themed die.... stretching those supplies is what we like ;)
I've used the Mistletoe Messages die and turned it upside down to create the rounded leaf foliage in three different greens and the berries make the cutest five petal flowers too...
I cut the berries from some patterned paper and used the trio of berries to make each flower. The photo tutorial above shows how I stacked the shapes and trimmed one of the trio's to add the last petal, the spare piece is them shaped on a foam mat using a large headed embossing stylus and popped on top as the flower centre. The buds are made using the single berries, I just cut a small notch from the green circles and layerd them over the others.
To make the wrap I made a practice one with copy paper then used it as a template on lilac card, then just started arranging the sprigs. The best bit is you can chop the dies up to add leaves where you want and just hide the cut ends amongst the jumble of stems and flowers. The bow has been cut twice in purple card so I could use the long ends to make the string going around the floral wrap too.
I'm really pleased how they turned out and all from a Christmas die too!! I added a background and simple sentiment as that's all you need with these pretty flowers taking centre stage!!
Thanks for stopping by, catch you next week :)
