Plentiful Pines

Plentiful Pines

Good Morning everyone! I hope you're all enjoying this lovely weather. I've a few cards to share with you today. I'll start off with a birthday card:

I've used Altenew's Plentiful Pine stamps for the card. I stamped the large tree in four shades of aqua, and the two smaller pines in shades of green and blue. There is a matching die set, but it's OOS at the moment, however, I simply fussy cut the trees - so easy. I used Lawn Fawn's Hillside stencils to create the hills using a couple of shades of Distress oxide inks. To make the sky I used a torn sheet of paper to give the impression of cloud banks and a light blue distress oxide ink. I added a punched circle to mask the sun area before inking. I added a few cloud stamps from Lawn Fawn's Blue Skies stamp set and finished off by stamping the birthday greeting from Plentiful Pine. I adhered the dark blue tree flat to the card, and used dimensional pads to attached the other two trees. At the moment the inside of the card hasn't been decorated.

I first used this stamp set at an Altenew craft session in my local area and I made two festive cards there.  Here they are:

I made these cards in much the same way as I did the birthday card. I like the simplicity of the cards, although I think I might add some sparkle before I send them out this Christmas.   This is a really fun set which I initially thought of as a Christmas set, but actually it works really well for a fun masculine birthday card.

That's all from me today - thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you again next week.
