Postage Collage Mash Up

I'm doing an extra shift on the blog today - - sorry if you're missing Jen who has been off for a few weeks for personal reasons but will be back with her fab inspiration soon we hope. I had time for a little play today so thought I'd share my make.

I wanted to play with the new wild flower postage collage stencil but I also haven't used my rose stencil yet so thought i would mix and match the two. I used the same 4 colours throughout to tie them both together - 3 shades of orange and a green and by twisting one of the stencil elements around to fit one rose top left and moving one wild flower over one, I've filled one background cut with the original postage collage die in a cool mash-up. Waffle Flower revealed last month on YouTube that they have a plan to release different stencils every month this year with more florals to come so mixing them up will give lots of different looks and will be a great way to stretch your stash.

I kept the card simply by just inking up the background in tonal green (twisted citron) and adding a simple sentiment using All Occassion Script Sentiments from The Greetery.
