Sunny Days Ahead
Good morning! Deborah here with you today. We had a bit of a hiccup last week with the blog, so I'm posting the card I made last week that slipped through the net! I’ve made an encouragement card – I need a lot of those right now.
I cut a piece of white card 4¼” x 5½” and stamped some fun shapes in shades of pink in a diagonal down the centre of the card. I stamped a bold greeting in black in the middle of the pink circle and finished by adding a few extra floral stamps and plus signs in a darker pink. I added some extra detail to the panel by with the Positively Stitched card front die – I like the subtle positive message this adds. I trimmed the panel to 3⅞” x 5⅛” and layered it onto a deep berry mat layer. I adhered the whole piece to the front of an A2 side-opening notecard.
Inside the card, I cut a mat layer from the berry card. On the white panel I added a simple greeting in black and echoed the pattern from the front inside.
