Hi, Terri here! Today I am sharing a fathers day card using the Build-A-Toolbox die set from Lawn Fawn.

I started by die cutting all of the tools using the Build-A-Toolbox Die set. I cut the metal elements from silver mirror card, the wooden parts from Kraft card and the other bit from coloured cardstock. I added some shading to the coloured card and kraft card elements using alcohol markers. I then adhered the tools together using a strong wet glue.
I covered an A2 card base using a piece patterned paper from the Favourite Flannel Fall 6x6 paper pad. I cut a rectangle of patterned paper from my stash using the largest of the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies, I also cut a piece of woodgrain patterned paper using the same rectangle die. I adhered them together to create the wall and worktop for my background. I added this to the card base using foam pads.

I added the toolbox to the worktop section of the card using foam pads and then added the tools. I placed some dangling out and a ruler sitting on the surface. I added a sprinkle of screws, nuts and screw heads, die cut from silver mirror card, to make it look like they had spilled out of the toolbox.
To create the sentiments, I die cut letters to spell the word Dad 3 times using Henry's ABCs die. I stacked them together and added them to the top section of the card and coated them in glossy accents. I then added a sub sentiment using the Mice Tools Add-On Stamp. I white heat embossed on to a dark teal cardstock and then added it under the word Dad.
