Today I’m sharing a fun dog-themed handmade card created using Waffle Flower Crafts products. This card features layered stencilling, die cutting, and added dimension for a playful yet polished finish—perfect for dog lovers and card makers alike.

Stencilling the Dogs with the Woof Stencil
I began by stencilling the dogs using the Postage Collage Woof Stencil. This is a layered stencil set, which makes it easy to colour each dog individually and customize them to suit your project. I stencilled onto white super-smooth cardstock, ensuring clean blends and crisp detail.
Once the stenciling was complete, I used the Postage Collage Stencil to cut the images into individual panels.
Creating Postage Collage Frames
To create the frames, I die-cut kraft cardstock using the Postage Collage Frames Dies. I adhered the frames to my selected dog images with wet glue and set them aside to dry. The kraft frames add warmth and contrast while keeping the design cohesive.

Card Background with Paw Print Texture
For the background, I trimmed a piece of light coral cardstock and added texture using the Paw Print Texture Die. This subtle paw print pattern adds interest without overwhelming the design. I then adhered this panel to a white A2 card base.
Adding Dimension and the Sentiment
Next, I arranged the three dog images onto the background using foam pads to add dimension.
For the sentiment, I stamped a greeting from the Pawder Day Stamp and Dies onto white cardstock using black ink. I cut it out with the coordinating die, then die-cut four additional sentiment layers. I stacked all the layers together, placing the stamped sentiment on top. This creates a thick, sturdy sentiment that sits level with the raised images on the card.

Finished Dog-Themed Card
The finished card has plenty of texture, dimension, and personality—perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or sending happy mail to a dog lover.
