Hi Terri here, I'm super excited to be joining the Seven Hills DT and sharing my first post. Today I am using the Flamazing stamp set from My Favourite Things.
I love it when stamp companies add lots of little embellishment stamps to fill their stamping plate, it means I can create my own background and know it will coordinate perfectly with my focal image.
I used the little flowers and leaves from the Flamazing stamp set to stamp out a background onto an A2 note card, I kept the colours very light so they didnt overpower my Flamingo.
I stamped the Flamingo on to Neenah cardstock and added some water below. I stamped a sentiment from the set in black ink for added impact and added a few little butterflies. I placed my image onto some glitter card, which I cut using a stitched rectangle die. I placed this to my stamped background with some foam pads.
I am really pleased with how cute and simple this card was to make. I wil be back next Tuesday with another card.
