Hello, Deborah here with you today. I don’t have a card today, instead I have decorated my calendar with some lovely floral images and sentiments from Altenew.
I started by stamping the large outline image from Calming Cluster directly onto the calendar. I used the matching layering stencils to colour the image. I started with pale lemon in the large flower – I should have heat set the ink before starting, so there’s a little smudging on this flower, but the rest is okay. It’s easy to line up the stencils and add the colours. Next, I added a spray of lilies from Enjoy Life – again, I used the matching stencils to add colour to the image. I finished the panel by adding the Today greeting and message from Enjoy Life, and the relax sentiment from Calming Cluster.
This is so easy to do and so relaxing! I plan on making a few birthday cards with these sets soon. The good with about stencils is that I can make the flowers the favourite colour of the recipients.
