Hi everyone, it's Natalia here today – back with another floral number. This time I'm sharing a more muted, yet seasonal take on the Wild Wetlands die set from The Greetery.
And yes, the Wild Wetlands die set was originally part of an autumnal release, but this very easy-to-assemble floral arrangement lends itself so well to different looks.
Today I wanted to go with a soft muted look with different shades of green and pops of colour.
For the Wild Wetlands dies I mainly used C9 cardstock colours (namely Avocado for the base die, Artichoke and Grasshopper for the other stems and leaves, then Lilac, Stardust, Grapefruit, and Sunflower).
To frame the florals, I cut the Shortbread Shapes Rectangle die with the internal die piece to create a frame, which I then embossed with the Shortbread Shapes Rectangle Spring folder (but any of the Shortbread Shapes Rectangle embossing folders will give the same effect).
Next I splattered the peachy toned cardstock with gold paint from the Starry Colors palette, then ran it through with the outline die from the Shortbread Shapes Rectangle set to layer up the frame.
I arranged everything in my stamp positioner to finally add a little stamped sentiment from the Curio Labels set, and mounted the frame on a pale green card base.
