Can you believe we are in July already.. and you know that means Christmas in July and I am back again this year with my Last Christmas series where I use stamps, dies and other items release last year!
This year my series will use a mixture of brands and first up is a favourite of mine, Purple Onion Designs. The stamp set used today is Holly Mabutas's Reindeer Tryout.
I decided I wanted to make a pop-up card and planned on using the Concord & 9th Pop Out Stacks base die. I cut out all the pieces in white card stock and then the main piece again in DSP.
I stamped the image on a piece of white card the right width for the card base and then coloured it in using alcohol markers. I then fussy cut it out.
I trimmed down the part of the card base to make it fit behind my image and then assembled the card only using the back and the front piece.
For the sentiment I used Kristina Werners Joyful & Merry stamps and dies cutting and stamping them out using coloured card to match.
I added the sentiment to the back piece only adhering it at one end so it didn't crease.
I love how this card turned out even if it took me longer than usual to make it.
