Nordic Border Paper Chains

Nordic Border Paper Chains

I'm back again today with another super fun project using the new Lawn Fawn release.   When I saw the Nordic Snowflake Border Die a few weeks ago when we placed our order, I immediately thought it was perfectly sized to make extra special paper chains for Christmas decorations so as soon as it arrived I made one!

Now if you think I must be crazy, you might be right, but actually, there was not as many cranks of the die cut machine handle as you might think to make this!

It's not made from cardstock, but thin pearlescent paper in lilac and navy so I actually stacked 3 sheets together and it cut and imprinted the details on all 3 layers with ease - the bonus is when you peel the 3 layers apart most of the bits pop out too so not too much pokey-tool action required!

I think the results are really pretty so I'll be making some more for other rooms of the house (this one is for the office which is blue and white)  All you need is a tiny dab of glue to join the ends together - you could do a pretty rainbow or go traditional red, green and gold.  Great to make with the kids too.

Hope that's given you another idea to stretch your stash - do share your versions on socials if you make one and tag us with our #madewithsevenhills hashtag, or share on our page or VIPs group on Facebook.

Happy Crafting!

Tara
