Jen here and this week I am using the latest release from Waffle Flower with the Nesting Postage Collage dies matched with an image from Purple Onion Designs.
I started by colouring in the Road Tripping image from Purple Onion Designs using alcohol markers then masked it off using masking paper. I used the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Block Stencil and the Waffle Flower Masking Corner Stencils to add the background with Distress Oxides in Tumbled Glass and Lost Shadow. I used the new Waffle Flower background brushes for this. They are currently out of stock but they made it so easy to get a really smooth background with little effort - make sure you set a notify me when back in stock if you want them!
I then used the rectangle die from Waffle Flower Nesting Postage Collage Die doing an off the edge technique where i trimmed around the bit that was too big and placed the die underneath the little mouse and the back of the car.
I cut out the postage nesting die from white card stock and mounted the image onto it. I added the postage marks with the Waffle Flower Royal Mail stamp set and the Postage Collage stamp set.
I then created a card base using pale grey card stock and added some texture using the Waffle Flower Paw Print background die.
I used a thank you label from the Waffle Flower Label Maker Sentiments Stamp and Die tucking it under the edge before mounting the panel on foam tape.
Love how this turned out... remember you can use any images or even dies with any of the Waffle Flower postage collections.
