Hello there, Terri here! I am super excited today, not only because it's my birthday but because I am sharing a card using the Seaside set from Concord & 9th. As soon as I saw this set, I wanted it. Being able to build Seaside vistas, personalising them to places you've visited around the world, I mean what could be more fun!

To create my card I used the Seaside Stamp, Die and Stencil set. This set comprises of stencils to create the base scene, stamps to add the details and dies to embellish. I chose to make my buildings an off white/beige colour and add light brown stone detail. The sea is a nice mid blue, not quite Mediterranean or Caribbean, I was thinking more St Ives. I added in the sky and road details, I love how you could choose different colours to make things look more moody or change the time of year.
I added the tile detail to the roofs and die cut the doors, windows and awning. Then I cut all the foliage and plant pots. I wanted to add pops of colour to the scene so ink blended in reds, yellows and teal. The table and chairs and lamp post are so cute and really help complete the village look I was going for. I really like how Concord & 9th have stacked the sentiments so that they fit in the sky. I stamped mine in a darker blue so that it stood out.

I had so much fun creating this card and cannot wait to create more vistas from my travels, I think I might even make them into postcard style images that could be framed. Thank you so much for stopping by today, I'm off to play with my birthday presents, I got inks, stamps and storage, how lucky am I?
