Take one roll of washi........

If you have not yet come across the wide washi tapes from Pinkfresh Studio then you might not get the concept - they are not like a normal roll of tape designed just to be decorative strips - these tapes are designed specifically to be mounted onto card and die cut and it's brilliant concept if you are a batch card maker and need to make a lot of cards fast! The latest design is PERFECT for batch making Christmas cards.

It's an add-on product to Seasonal Sprigs Stamp, Die and Stencil Kit so having it all gives you lots of options - you can stamp the images, colour by hand or with the stencil and then cut them out with the die - or you can use the washi with the die if you don't have time to colour them. I went with the washi option first (although I will colour some too I think as they will be fun in contemporary colours too) and from 4 strips of washi I made SIX cards in around 90 minutes from start to finish.

For the first card I took the 4 small corner shapes (you get one on each length of washi) and popped them into the corners of a large green base card. I then stacked two of the main focal wreaths on top of each other for my focal image - turned so you get a fuller look but a single layer would work equally well, I was just playing with them and liked the double layered look. Finished with a simple die cut sentiment in red over the middle (a couple of glue dots behind the centre of the sentiment to stop it bending)

Whilst still in wreath mode, I played around with the large and medium sprigs and found they made a cool wreath too, so I layered them up around a kraft base card. I created a circle sentiment from red and gold card with circle dies and a sentiment from the Treasured Greetings Stamp and Die Kit embossed in gold (looks odd in the photo - sorry!) I love a big bold Christmas sentiment so you're likely going to get very bored of these sentiments in the coming weeks!!! I used the red layer of the sentiment to draw a pencil line so I knew where to place the elements so the edges would be covered - but when I added the sentiment there were a few uneven gaps so I filled them with the tiny sprigs and love the deep textured finish it created.

The more straight bows in the design reminded me of the decorations my mum would pop on top of the mirror as a kid so I used that as my inspiration for the next card. I die cut and embossed a gold frame using the Altenew Decorartive Frames Embossing Folder and Die Kit and added that to a cream base card. I stamped another of the luscious sentiments in the Treasured Greetings Stamp and Die Kit directly onto the card inside the frame and added 3 red enamel dots to highlight it. I added a big sprig top and bottom and tucked 3 smaller sprigs at the bottom - this might be my favourite.......

I had 2 wreaths left so opted to make 2 very CAS cards with them - I wasn't sure at first if a white background was too stark but I actually really loved it, so decided to make 2 of the same card. Simply adding a wreath then used two sentiments from the Seasonal Sprigs Stamp one in red, one in green.

Then when I looked at what bits I had left over, I had 3 of the flatter boughs so I thought they would look nice on their own - just spaced down a piece of kraft card with the same sentiments I used on the CAS cards but in black. Finished with a bit a red and gold Christmas paper from last year's Lawn Fawn paper pad.
