Hi, Terri here! I am sharing a Lawn Fawn card using the cute little mice! Today they are in the workshop, having some fun with tools. This card is actually a thank you card for a Dad that fixes everything.
I started by die cutting the Workshop Backdrop Die - Landscape from brown cardstock. I then cut a piece of paper from the Favourite Flannel 6x6 Paper Pad to act as the wallpaper. I also added a piece of light blue paper for the floor. This panel was adhered to a white A2 notecard.
Using the Mice Tools Stamp and the Mice Tools Add-on Stamp I stamped the images onto 110lb super smooth cardstock. I then coloured the images with alcohol markers before cutting them out with the Mice Tools Dies and Mice Tools Add-On Dies.
I added the die cut images to the workshop using a wet glue. I love how the little baby mouse in on the chair with his Dad measuring him and his Uncle making sure he doesn't fall of the chair. I don't know why but I love to make up stories to go with my mice cards.
Using Henry's ABCs Dies I die cut the word FIXING, from both the pale blue and some grey card. I layered them to give a dropped shadow effect. I adhered them to the lower section of the card using foam tape. I stamped some sub sentiments from the Henry's Build-A-Sentiment Tools Stamps on to the pale blue card, using black ink. I added these to the card with foam pads. Lastly I placed some enamel dots over the die cut holes in the lower section, to give the impression of nail heads.
