I'm continuing with my "I will have cards to send at Christmas" campaign and made another using new supplies from Concord and 9th and Pinkfresh Studio. I like to mix and match the brands as they often have products that work so well together.
I wanted to use the new Chandelier Card Front die as it reminded me of wallpaper we had in the 70s that was blown vinyl diamonds with gold in the raised area and this die really reminded me of that pattern. I used my gansai tambi paints to shade the pattern gold - dark for the diamonds and pale for the dots - direct to my card front so I didn't use too much water to avoid warping.
Whilst that was drying I picked a couple of papers from the new Festive Fun paper pad from Pinkfresh - I love all the papers in this collection but I am going to use them up and not just save them forever like I normally do (my buckling paper shelves can testify to my paper pad hoarding habits!) Here I picked a couple that matched my twinkling lights sentiment - stars and a shelf with fairy lights. I used one to cut an oval onto which I mounted the sentiment I had stamped and embossed using, you guessed it - Treasured Greetings from Pinkfresh Studio. The second I just cut a single shelf (and added a bit of red card to be the actual shelf as the white disappeared on my white card background).
I used a pair of rectangle dies to create a thin red frame to tie it altogether to finish.
