I've got a couple of dog themed birthday cards to share today using Waffle Flower products - some new and some old (and on sale "wink")
First off I wanted to play with the new postage collage woof stencil and postage collage frame dies and had an idea to make a full on gallery of them.

I used altenew inks to blend the stencil (with distress oxide background) and then die cut the frames from rose gold matte card and popped them behind. The stencils are super easy to use lining up the layers once you start with the background. I arranged them on a kraft card and wanted to fill in the gaps around my 3 full dogs - I couldn't bring myself to cut a dog in half so I just used the same blue to fill in the frames and cropped them. I added a sentiment from an older set Birthday Puppies (which I've just slashed to over 50% off along with the matching die if you want to add it to your stash)
Whilst I had the stamp out, I thought I'd make another card with it as I really love the dachshunds and thought the way you can make them nose-to-nose was perfect for a gate fold card and I'm trying to be more exciting with my shapes of cards this year.
I stamped them, cut them out (the die left too much white so I trimmed them with my tiny scissors but you could leave it with the die if you measured the card bigger!) My card was 24 cm long folded at 6cm and 18cm. I added some grass trim and then stuck them on noses touching.

For the inside I added their pal with his balloons and a dog house using the old MFT Dog House Die (now also slashed to half price) with more grass and sentiment. To hold it altogether I cut a strip of watermelon card and stamped the sentiment in the centre, folding it gently around the sides of the card to make a belly-band - Top Tip - its best to this is by folding around not measuring to ensure it's not too tight.

I'm really pleased with how they both turned out and now I have two fun cards for my dog loving chums in my stash.
Catch you later with more crafty inspiration!
Tara
