Hello & happy Thursday.
This week I decided I needed to get cracking with Christmas cards. Mainly because I need to get them in the mail early for my international friends and family as every year I am always running late.
I decided to dust off and ink up one of Concord & 9th older sets, Christmas Florals. I’ve had this set a while and I am ashamed to say it hadn’t been inked.
I started with the main focal image from the set to create this one layer card. As you can see I must have dusted off my colouring patience too - haha! I used Copic Markers to colour the poinsettias and leaves, adding some gold highlights to the berries.
Making this card inspired me to make a second.
This time I paired the single poinsettia with the woodgrain circle from Eclectic Garden and the sentiment from Mix & Match Holiday Sentiments.
That’s another two cards to add to the pile & all from me this week.
