Jen here and today I am making simple one layer cards using Distress Oxides and Stamps from The Greetery.
I started by cutting two A2 Card bases from water colour card stock and them masked off on the fold. I stamped the line image from the Summer Sketches Stamp off the edge at the top on each of the cards using Versafine Clair Nocture ink. To colour in the images i used Distress oxides on the stamps and sprayed with water before stamping them down to give a water colour effect.
I added the Thank You sentiment from the Opposite Attracts set to the bottom of each of the cards using versafine and a stamping platform so i could get a perfect crisp image.
The cards are finished off with a splatter of black paint to give some extra interest.
These cards are super simple and show another way to use layering stamp sets. You could create a full set with different sentiments.
