Floral Wishes with The Greetery Bitty Botanicals

Hi everyone, it's Natalia here today!

I hope you all had a lovely break over the Christmas period and managed to get some crafting in...

I always find the first week of January a strange one, even in my craft room. I struggle to shift gears from all the Christmas festivities and reset my brain to non-festive crafting.

So to ease myself back into the crafting groove for 2026, I had fun playing with an idea that's been going around in my head recently…

Combining The Greetery Bitty Botanicals with the Hoopla Mini embroidery frames.

I started out by stamping the red rubber Bitty Botanicals stamp on ivory cardstock and adding all the floral details with the stencil that comes with it. I used fineliners and a white pen to add extra definition to the florals once cut out with the coordinating die.

There were enough florals to create two cards, so time for some assembly line cutting of all the rectangular Hoopla Mini inserts and Hoopla Mini embroidery hoops.

I used two different shades of brown for the wooden frames, and went over them with dark brown ink to bring out the woodgrain texture.

For my first card, I went with a light and airy look, using ivory cardstock for the inserts (all splattered with light gold paint).

I also splattered the Waffle Flower Cross-Hatch Texture background panel with a darker shade of gold paint.

This background really helps you line things up so they're more or less straight, as the little pierced dots in the pattern provide a useful guide.

For my sentiment, I used the Tear Strip Tags Birthday set stamped on the coordinating Tear Strip Tags Banners die set.

In complete contrast, the botanicals for my second card are mounted on bold inserts inspired by Zweigart embroidery fabrics. The frames and inserts are splattered with light gold paint.

To make them really pop, I used ivory cardstock as my cardbase, with the Waffle Flower Cross-Hatch Texture die providing enough interest in the background.

This time, the sentiment is from the original Tear Strip Tags stamp set – a nice universal option for celebrating various occasions.

As you can see, this is a pretty versatile design. So if you're trying to get ahead with your Christmas cards this year, you can swap out the Bitty Botanicals with the Bitty Holiday Botanicals and use the Christmas sentiments in the original Tear Strip Tags stamp set. Easy as that!

Until next time, happy crafting!
