Hello February & Happy Thursday.
Finally we enter a new month and say goodbye to January, so I thought it was a reason to celebrate and say, ‘Let’s Party’ with a colourful and ‘quick’ card.
I’ve had the Concord & 9th Quirky Stripe Stencil for ages, seems like I was waiting for the right creative opportunity to use it, as today is the first time I have inked it up.
I used my 3 favourite colours, Honeysuckle, Buttercup and Oceanside. A little tip is to ink along the length of the stripes to minimise them moving. Stripy stencils are a little less stable and the lines can often move.
I then used a circle die to die cut a window to stamp the ‘Let’s Party’ sentiment from The Greetery Pinwheel Party. The stencilled panel is adhered using foam tape and I added a few enamel dots to finish.
That’s all I have today.
