Hello & Happy Thursday.
Today I am back to my clean & simple style with a fairly quick and easy masculine card. I had in mind Father’s Day, but as I didn’t have a sentiment that said that in my stash I have kept my card generic with a You’re The Best sentiment from the Concord & 9th Contempo Turnabout Stamp Set.
I was tidying up my stash and I came across the Concord & 9th Modern Mosaic Card Front Die and I think it is perfect to use for masculine card with its fun shapes. Selecting some off cuts of card in Midnight, Dove, Oceanside, Sea Glass and Avocado and set to die cutting them.
The piecing together and gluing down is probably the most time consuming part, but as I already had a card layout in mind, I cut a panel of white card to the size I wanted and pieced together a small section. Then I trimmed any pieces that overhung to make it neat.
I added the sentiment and was finished. I would have liked maybe to have added an image of some kind, but couldn’t find anything that I felt fit, so left it as a super CAS card instead. And I know from my husband he prefers minimalism. Though I couldn’t resist a trio of Avocado enamel dots to accent the sentiment!
