Jen here and I have my last card for Christmas In July in my Last Christmas series and this week its Kristina Werner stamp and dies that I am using along side the new Concord & 9th Pop-Up Stacks die set.
The great think about this Pop Up Stacks dies is you can use your imagine and use lots of different die sets or even stamps with them. I really wanted to concentrate on the word Merry and added the trees for accent to my little scene.
I started by cutting out the base in dark blue card stock and the last layer in white to replicate snow. I added some gold splatter to the background before assembling the pop up part.
I then cut the large Merry word from sparkly card stock which is quite thick but I still added another backing layer in the dark blue.
I cut out a pile of the trees in 3 colours of green using up scraps perfectly and then prepared a sentiment from the stamp set.
I added the Merry to the middle layer carefully folding the R so it worked on the pop up. I then added the trees in the relevant layers. I finished it off with the Christmas sentiment heat embossed on red card stock then added a couple of heart die cuts to add some more red into the card.
I love the impact the card has and even though it is pop up its still in my clean and simple style.
