I've got a couple of quick die cut cards to share today and controversially I have left both without a sentiment. I've used the new On The Edge Trio Die set from Waffle Flower Crafts for both cards.
The first card I thought spoke for itself - no sentiment required. I used the butterfly die to create my border from yellow card, matted onto blue to match the Ukranian flag and then I piece in white butterflies to symbolise the peace I hope will come to end the crisis soon. I'm posting this one on social media as part of the #cardsforukraine - cardmakers attempt to fill social media with cards made either in the colours of the Ukranian flag or featuring their national flower - the sunflower.
For my second card I wanted to play with the leaves so die cut it from 3 shades of green and then layered it up diagonally across my white base card. I think I probably will end up with a sentiment on this one - but right now I think it could go many ways so I'll leave it in my stash as a blank and add an appropriate sentiment when the need arises. I like to have generic cards that I can just add a sentiment to on hand for when you need a quick card for an unplanned reason at short notice.
