Autumn Leaves

Hi surprise, it's Deborah here today, I've swapped with Terri. I’ve three cards to share with you this morning. All focusing on Concord & 9th’s wonderful Triple Step Autumn Leaf stamp set and the matching Triple Step Autumn Leaf Dies.

I’ll start with a clean, simple sympathy card. I made the note card from natural cream card. I used the Triple Step Autumn Leaf dies, the outside stitched die, and the inside piece, to cut out the leaf from cream card and from coloured card scraps. I put double-sided adhesive on white card and used only the outline die to cut a leaf shape. I removed the adhesive cover and, after popping out all the tiny leaves and dots from the cream leaf, placed it on top of the sticky white leaf. I filled in the sticky gaps with the leaves and dots cut from the coloured card. I layered the finished piece onto another die cut leaf and used a small brush to add ink to the edge of the lead. I adhered the leaf to the front of the card and finished with a simple sentiment from Altenew's Sweet Gingko stamp set in deep brown ink.

For the inside, I cut a piece of cream card slightly smaller than the note card. I stamped a verse from Altenew’s Beautiful Inside stamp set in deep brown and added a tiny leaf from C&9 Triple Step Autumn Leaf stamp set. I brushed kraft ink around the edge of the panel and adhered it inside.

After making the sympathy card, I had four coloured leaves left over. I made another note card from the natural cream card. I adhered the pieces to the front, cut off any over-hanging card, and placed the smaller pieces on the card. I finished the front by stamping a greeting from C&9 Triple Step Autumn Leaf on a strip of cream card and adhered it to the card.

Inside, I cut a mat layer of mustard coloured card. On the white panel, I stamped a birthday greeting from C&9 Kids Are Grand stamp set and added autumn leaves from the Triple Step Autumn Leaf stamp set.

My final card is clean, simple, and very sparkly! For this card I used the stitched leaf outline die from C&9 Triple Step Autumn Leaf die set to cut four white leaves. On one of the leaves, I stamped the triple step foliage details in red, yellow, and orange inks. I layered the leaf dies together for strength and stability and adhered it to the front of a white A2 (US size) note card. I added a greeting from C&9 Harvest Wreath Turnabout stamp set in black ink, and lots of clear crystal gems.

Inside, I cut a mat layer of red card. On the white panel I stamped a message from C&9 Bold Butterflies stamp set along with a tiny butterfly stamped to match the front of the card.

That’s all from me today. Have a good week and I’ll see you next Wednesday.

Deborah, x
