These times are tough, and we all need a little cheer up from time to time. So I gave little gifts to some crafty friends and wanted to make gift tags to go along.
My Favourite Things’ Better Together is a perfect set to show your friends a little love.
I stamped nearly every critter in this set on alcohol marker friendly paper with alcohol marker friendly ink. Because -no surprise- I wanted to colour using alcohol marker. For me it is the fastest medium to colour with. And I still love -after a lot of years of colouring with so many different mediums – the effect of alcohol marker.
To cut out the images there are coordinating dies available.
For the tags I used Mama Elephant’s Tags a Lot and die cut them from white cardstock. I created a simple background by ink blending turquoise for the sky and green for the lawn. For the clouds I die cut Lawn Fawn's Spring Showers from vellum and from white cardstock.
For a sentiment I die cut tags from Mama Elephant's Slim Tags Trio from white cardstock again. I chose one of the sentiments from the Better together set and stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink – the best ink for sentiments.
