Today I am sharing a birthday card with you!
It is featuring My Favorite Things’ super cute Birthday Buds! Birthday cards are the kind of cards I make the most of, so I love sets full of birthday themed images.
I started by stamping the images I wanted to use and coloured them with pencils. To cut them out there are coordinating dies available.
Do you use a lot of patterned paper? When I started cardmaking about 10 years ago – I used a lot of it, on every card! Now I rarely reach out to it. I am not sure why because I still love it. And I surely couldn’t resist when I saw Lawn Fawn’s Textured Dot Cardstock. For this card I used the violet one of the Brights collection! I love the subtle pattern.
To frame my little scene I die cut a frame from Mama Elephant’s Framed Tags: Hug it Out.
For the sentiment I went for a simple one from Lawn Fawn’s Reveal Wheel Sentiments. I heat embossed it in white on pink cardstock and cut it into a fishtail banner. For a little more interest, I cut another banner from the textured do cardstock and layered them up.
