Hey everyone, I'm back today to share a set of super quick cards to you can batch make to add to your stack of cards using Concord & 9th 'Happy Headlines' stamp set.
I started by stamping the news paper page onto white card stock 5 times using Versafine Clair Nocture ink using my stamping platform. I then added the sentiments from the set to the bottom corner using a mixture of options and then finally added the little sun in Concord & 9th Honeycomb ink to each of the cards. I added in the temperature using a black pen to each set.
Then I needed to decide what I was going to add into the picture square... I was torn between making them all completely different with different things like an aperture, shaker, dies etc but In the end I decided I wanted that true newspaper look and had the idea to use a select of Purple Onions Designs images from Pei in each one.

I masked off each of the squares with post-it notes and then using the same ink stamped a section of each of the images onto each card base.
Tofu & Friends New Year's Toast Stamp
Once I had stamped them I decided to take a grey alcohol marker and add the most basic shading to each one to help make them pop.
I was going to colour them but since I had used Versafine ink it probably wasn't a good idea but I am so glad i left them all black and white as I love how they turned out.

I love how you can add anything you want into the aperture and any sentiment you have in dies as well.
