Hello & Happy Thursday.
Today I thought I would add to my Christmas card stash and decided to dust off Concord & 9th Christmas Florals. This stamp set is perfect for some quick, clean and simple cards.
First up I decided to use the large main image and using a classic technique of heat embossing and I don’t think there is anything more elegant than gold embossing on red card stock.
To add a little more interest and dimension I fussy cut the image out and adhered it to my base card using foam adhesive. I also added some pencil shading to the flowers.
For my second card I decided to use the smaller poinsettia stamp and used a little bit of masking and inking to my base card. I added the poinsettia design over the top, stamping in Cranberry.
To finish I added the Happy Christmas sentiment from the set and embellished with a simple black and white poinsettia.
