The Christmas in July release from Waffle Flower Crafts is our first Christmas product arrival for 2025 and it's in store now! I decided to make a carol themed card using the new Glory Angle die paired with an older stamp and die from The Greetery.
I started with my Christmas carol (apologies to anyone musical as it is NOT the tune!) by die cutting the noted die background from black card, and some of the notes from the same die set in gold. I added them to a pearlescent vellum oval, matted onto a pink version one size larger both cut using the Nesting Piercing Ovals Die also from Waffle Flower Crafts. I stamped the line from the carol underneath the music in versafine clair (this will set on vellum without smudging if you set it aside for a few minutes) using the Sing a Song of Christmas stamp from The Greetery.
To create the base card I took a scrap of gold speckled blue paper cut to the size of my A2 base card and used a slightly darker ink to add some shading to the corners. Then the pink oval was glued centrally before finishing with the pair of angels from the new die cut from gold mirri card over the top.
It still feels weird making Christmas cards when its so hot outside but I am determined to not be making them the day before postage deadline this December!!!
