Hello, Happy Thursday & Happy August.
Summer has finally arrived in the UK, just as I was hoping it would being the school holidays. And the sunshine has inspired me to get out in the garden. At the weekend I jet washed the garden path and planted some lovely flowers.
This made me think of Concord & 9th Garden Path Stencil Pack. I wanted to use the flowers, but not the complete design.
So I inked up the two ‘main’ flowers, masking off parts of the stencil I didn’t want inked. I then simply fussy cut the flowers and leaves out before adhering layering and adhering them onto my card using foam tape.
To finish my card I added one of my favourite Happy Birthday sentiments from Concord & 9th Delicate Blossoms as I am in need of a birthday card.
The colours I used are Concord & 9th Parsley, Evergreen, Wilberry, Creamsicle, Buttercup, Spiced Cider and Nutmeg.
