Today I am sharing a card using one of Altenew's Simple colouring stencils, Altenew has started to release stencils that allow you to ink blend in to the various section of outline stamps, these are greate if your not very confident with your colouring skills or you want a differnent look to your project.
My card today uses the stnecil without the outline stamp, sound complex but it's actually easy if you follow the guides included on the packaging.
I used the Sisters of the Heart Simple Colouring Stencil, I paid attention to the layering guie on the back of the packaging to make sure my layers were going in the correct place.
I cut the image out and set it aside while I added a very light inking my A2 card base using the Trellis Stencil and a light peach ink, I also added a few inky splatters. I then stamped a sentiment form the Sisters of the Heart Stamp Set in black ink and placed the floral element on tothe card using 3D glue gel.
I really like how the image looks without the outline stamp, it's soft, feminine and very modern.
