Festive Greetings with The Greetery Market Place

Festive Greetings with The Greetery Market Place

Hi everyone, it's Natalia here back with more inspiration from the new Christmas Market release by The Greetery.

This time, the focus is on the star of the collection, in my humble opinion: The Market Place dies and coordinating supplies.

Restocks have been ordered (and for items in the rest of the release), so if you missed out, it shouldn't be too long a wait. The original stock flew out in record time!

But in the meantime, I have some mini cards to share today that feature most of the collection.

The assembly for all three buildings is pretty much the same. Each die set features the outline die of the building and a nesting piece that cuts all the windows and door openings.  That way you can use the outline die to cut a solid colour to go behind the openings or leave the openings as they are to put an LED tealight behind if using the Arch Box Large die for example.

It's very easy to tape the nested die to the outline die and do both cuts in one go.

Once your buildings are cut, you just need to add the lovely architectural details from the rest of the die set.

Each building set contains the strip for adding a delightfully festive sign from the Market Place Holiday Sentiments stamp set.

Then for added festive accents, the Market Place Holiday Festoons die set contains various wreaths and bows, plus light garlands and a Merry Christmas banner. A really useful die set on its own, as those bows and wreaths are so handy!

For a finishing touch of wintry magic, I added splatters of white paint all over, plus white puffy paint that I went over with clear glue to add dry Distress glitter. Next time, I'm going to add even more snow into the mix with the Snow Flock options available in the store.

Once all my mini cards were assembled, I simply mounted them on cut down card blanks so that they could stand up nicely on the mantelpiece.

As you can see, this product suite is so versatile and offers endless possibilities for different colour palettes and using up your scraps too.

It's also great fun to use!

Until next time, happy crafting!
