Hello & Happy Thursday.
Even though we were in the middle of a heat wave earlier this week, my mind has been on Christmas and how I really need to make a start on my Christmas cards. Yep, I’ve not started and I know it’ll be here before I know it!
For me, when it comes to Christmas cards they need to be pretty clean & simple and preferably one layer to ease the blow of posting costs!
As you know I am a huge fan of Concord & 9th and I couldn’t resist dusting off their Christmas Florals Stamp Set. I was so tempted to whip up a batch of quick one layer cards using the larger focal stamp, I will, but for today I selected the smaller poinsettia for my card today.
I decided to do a bit of simple masking and stamping to create a little cluster of poinsettias which I have then coloured with Copic Markers.
My chosen sentiment is from Mistletoe Messages Stamp Set, another little favourite of mine from Concord & 9th. To finish my card off I used some Nuvo Drops to the flower centres and also to scatter around. I love how you can achieve fine dots with dimension with Nuvo Drops. However a gold pen would have worked just as nicely.
