Happy New Year! Terri here, and today I’m sharing a handmade Valentine’s card created with stamps from the Waffle Flower Crafts December release. This card features layered stamping, bold pink tones, and elegant texture—perfect inspiration for Valentine’s Day card making.

Valentine’s Card Stamping Details
I started my Valentine’s card by stamping the Love Heart image from the Shape of My Heart Stamp Set onto super-smooth white cardstock. For the main layer, I used a bright magenta ink, then added depth by stamping the coordinating shadow layer in a darker magenta. While lining up layered stamps can be a bit fiddly, even a slightly offset look adds character and dimension to the heart design.
Adding Valentine’s Sentiments
To complete the sentiment, I turned to the Overlapping Love Additions Stamp Set and chose the phrase “Always & Forever,” which felt perfect for a romantic Valentine’s Day card. I stamped the sentiment in black ink to help it stand out, then balanced the design by adding a small “you & me” sentiment from the Shape of My Heart Stamp Set directly onto the heart. The finished stamped panel was trimmed to 3.75" x 5".

Card Base and Finishing Touches
For the card base, I used a white A2 card base layered with a hot pink die-cut panel. The panel was cut using the Dashed Lattice Texture Die, adding subtle texture and visual interest. I then adhered the stamped panel on top using foam pads to create dimension and give the card a polished, professional finish.
