Jen here and today I am using a stamp set from Art Impressions called Possum... I thought I would try a new to me brand and take myself out of my colouring comfort zone.
I started by stamping the image onto white card before colouring in with my alcohol markers. Normally I go for really simple colouring but i wanted to try and make them a little more lifelike and the back of the packed has the coloured images on so I used that as a guideline.
I originally planned on fussy cutting it out but decided to colour the sky around it in the end before adding a sentiment from the set. I then trimmed down at one side so I could add a border.
For the border I used a piece of black card embossed with Altenews Crystal Wall embossing folder. I love this one as you can use it either way up for different effects.
I think I will need to try colouring with water colours with the same image for a different effect.
