Hey there, Terri here! Today Iโm sharing an elegant swan-themed wedding card created using beautiful products from Waffle Flower Crafts. This design is perfect for weddings, anniversaries, or any romantic occasion.

๐ Creating the Water Background
To begin, I cut a piece of teal cardstock to 4.25" x 5". For the background, I used the Shimmering Water Stencil with Volcano Lake Fresh Dye Inkย to create a soft, flowing water effect.
I absolutely love the tone-on-tone look this creates! By keeping the center of the panel slightly lighter, it adds natural movement and depthโjust like gentle ripples on water.
๐ฆข Die Cutting the Intertwined Swans
Next, I moved on to the focal pointโthe swans. I used the Intertwined Swansย Die Set to cut all elements from white cardstock.
- One swan was shaded with dark grey ink for contrast
- The other swan was left crisp white for balance
- I added colour to the beaks and floral details
- The crown was cut fromย gold mirror cardstock for an elegant finish
These details really bring the design to life and enhance the romantic feel of the card.

โจ Assembling the Card Design
I wrapped the swans around the stencilled background panel and added the gold crown. At this stage, I realized I had forgotten to stamp my sentimentโoops!
But sometimes a little risk pays off ๐ I carefully placed the panel into my stamping platform and stamped the sentiment directly onto the white swan. I used the Better Together Stamp and Die Combo Thankfully, it turned out perfectly!
๐ Finishing Touches
To complete the card:
- I adhered the focal panel to an A2 white card base
- Ensured everything was aligned and secure
And thatโs it!

๐ Final Thoughts
Iโm so happy with how this card turned outโitโs soft, elegant, and romantic, making it ideal for:
- Wedding cards
- Anniversary cards
- Valentineโs Day
- Or simply to let someone know you love them
