Hey, Terri here! I am so excited to be able to not only post on the new blog but to share a card using Lesia Zgharda Designs products. Seven Hills Crafts are the only UK stockist of Lesia Zgharda designs, so it feels very special to be able to do this.
The stamp set I am using is called Cute Otters In Love it features 2 otters hugging in the water, it's so adorable. I started by stamping the otters onto 80lb super smooth white cardstock, using Momento Tuxedo Black Ink I used my alcohol markers to add colour, I chose to go with grey browns and a touch of beige. I added pink cheeks and then white gel pen highlights.
Around the image I added a light blue ink blending to create a soft sky, I coloured the bubbles and water with alcohol markers before adding a little Unicorn Stickles, I set this aside to dry so that I could continue on my card base.
I covered a 5.5x5.5 card blank with some Plaid patterned paper, I then cut a piece of white cardstock to measure 5x5 and die cut an aperture using the largest Reverse Stitched Scalloped Circle Window Die. I added this window over the top of the coloured image to give a beautiful framed effect. I added it to the card base using foam pads.
Lastly I stamped a sentiment onto white card using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink Pad, I then die cut it using a Stitched Banner Sentiment Die, I added this to a piece of the Plaid paper and placed it onto the card using foam pads.
