Merry Christmas with The Greetery Banner & Bough

Merry Christmas with The Greetery Banner & Bough

Hi, it's Natalia here today, back with a 2025 take on a winter staple from The Greetery.

The Banner & Bough stamp and stencil combo and the coordinating dies have been out a good few years now, but they are still a delight to craft with.

For their Winter 2025 outing, I wanted to try a different workflow to the usual steps of stencilling and stamping first, then die cutting the main bouquet.

Instead, I started out by die cutting the bouquet outline and then going in with the stencilling steps. This made it easier to line up the large pine bough stamp more accurately.

I then cut all the smaller dies from the set to stencil the banner and add the stamped details for each element.

For festive sparkle on the flower centres and berries on the branches, I added my favourite and extremely versatile embellishment: Pinkfresh Studio Champagne Glitter Drops.

They kind of adapt to the colour palette you are using, whether warm or cool tones, and there is a good mix of sizes in the pack.

Once the bouquet was assembled, I grabbed some C9 Sea Glass cardstock to run through with The Greetery's Herringbone Parquet die.

To give it a wintry make-over, I added some grungy ink around the edges, and lots of paint splatter.

I also gave the bouquet a splatter as well as the circle of pink card from a previous project that pops up the bouquet nicely.

Until next time, happy crafting!
