I hope you are all well and staying warm.
I’m back today with my next 3 months of my 2023 calendar. This week I went for late spring & a couple of early summer months.
First up May.
For this month I did a bit of ink blending for a background. Aqua Sky, Parsley & Buttercup from top to bottom. Then I combined a couple of C9 stamp sets. Buds & Blossoms and Bold Butterflies. I think these make a lovely combination for late spring.
With June being the month for Father’s Day, I thought I would switch gears a little and opted for abstract geometrics, with the Good Vibes Turnabout and some more bright colours, Buttercup, Honeysuckle & Oceanside.
The Turnabout Jig really makes using turnabouts easy for non square projects! Highly recommend it.
Lastly for today I went for July and felt more florals were required and dusted off Painted Peony. I love this layered bloom and it is really forgiving if you don’t get the layers completely lined up. I used Ballet Slipper, HoneySuckle & Poppy for one bloom. Masked and then used Aqua Sky, Ocean Side and Peacock for the other.
I felt the top needed a splash of colour so added some Midnight ink blending to the top. Just like last week, I used the Mini Months stamp for the months of the year.
