Hello & Happy Thursday!
Are you getting excited for Christmas?
I seem to be in full sugar loaded Christmas excitement this week - haha! Maybe it is because my 7 year old twin boys are pretty much like that about it and it is rubbing off on me - who knows. I’m looking forward to decking the halls this weekend. It will be the earliest I have put the decorations up, that I can remember.
This excitement inspired my cards today…
I’m loving the individual tree stamps from the Concord & 9th Tiny Trees Turnabout Stamp. So I got to inking up the fun striped tree to create this colourful Christmas card.
I used a selection of Concord & 9th inks Poppy, Marmalade, Buttercup, Ballet Slipper, clover, Eggplant, Aqua Sky and Oceanside.
I added a couple of colourful stripes of card to the bottom of my stamped layer to help balance the heaviness of colour out at the top of the card. Overall a simple card with a lot of happy colour.
For my second card today I went for an ultra clean and simple style and another last minute mass producible friendly design…
A simple stamped tree on a small panel, foam mounted it onto my base card.
I absolutely love this sentiment and layout of it, perfect to finishing this card design.
That’s all from me this week.
