I've got a super CAS card to share today - other than my colouring medium (copics today) all I used was one stamp and die set, a strip of card, foam tape and an embossing stylus. Sometimes you want all the bells and wistles, sometimes clean and simple is enough.
I started with the Special Spot in My Heart stamp from MFT and stamped both giraffes onto white card and coloured with copics. As I knew I wanted the "spot" sentiment from the set, I decided to drive home the sentiment by adding a heart to the spots on each giraffe (you get two, both perfectly sized for each animal). Once cut with the matching die I set them aside and started on the base card.
I used my stylus tool and a hoogie board to emboss a border all the way around the card. Stamped the sentiment onto a red to match the hearts and stuck that across the card and the border. I added the mama with glue but them popped the baby up on foam tape for a little added interest - CAS is all about the extra details that make it special but don't clutter the card.
