I am covering for Terri because she didn’t feel well.
And I have another Christmas card for you.
I have a soft spot for Santa stamps. Ok, I may have a soft spot for any kind of stamps. I am quite picky when it comes to santa stamps but the ones (and the snowmen) from My Favorite Things’ ‘Tis the Season are especially cute.
I stamped not only a snowman and a Santa but also some presents and trees to create a little scene. I coloured the images using coloured pencils – as you may already know my favourite colouring medium.
For the background I did a little bit of ink blending and added splatters with water and white gesso.
I just recently bought Concord & 9th’ Seasonal Sayings. It is a great mix of Christmas word dies. For this card I used the Christmas which is very delicate. I love these kind of word dies but they are not so easy to glue down when you want some dimension. I adhered the images with some dimensional adhesive. To die word die cut I just added a tiny bit of glue to the parts that touched the images.
