December is finally here and the countdown has begun to the BIG day - yay! I am super excited about Christmas this year and as I haven't been able to see friends like I normally would have I am sending more Christmas cards than normal to make up for it.
This in turn, coupled with the fact that post delivery times are so much slower at the moment I need to get a wriggle on and get more made! Am I the only one who underestimates how many Christmas cards I need?!
Anyway, today I have this easy, clean & simple design using Concord & 9th All the Merrys stamp and All the Merrys Dies. I love a good Christmas tree shape and this is just the ticket. It fills a standard size card beautifully, with just enough room to add a sentiment at the bottom.
I kept the design really simple, as even though I rarely batch make the same design, it is handy to have a few ideas to go back to when time and creative mojo is lacking! The stamps and die sets both have options for trimming the tree.
As I rarely go for an all die cut card, I opted to use the stamp decoration. One of my favourite things is to add coloured dimensionals like Stickles to add colour and interest.
That's all I have to share for today, I am sure I will be back next week with an array of Christmas cards to share as I hit panic mode - LOL!
