Hello, Jen here and today I’m sharing a fun 3D pop-up card made with the Into the Woods dies from Concord & 9th, paired with Purple Onion Designs’ Doggo and Mouse’s Winter Walk stamp. I love mixing brands, and these elements work so beautifully together!
I started by cutting the die card base from sturdy white 350gsm card stock and created an additional back panel from a snowfall-patterned paper to create a wintry backdrop. I then die-cut the trees from green card stock six times before assembling the card.
Next, I coloured Doggo and Mouse’s Winter Walk with alcohol markers and fussy cut out the image. I adhered it to the front of the card so the characters look as though they’re bounding through the snowy woodland.
To finish, I added a cheerful “Holly Jolly” sentiment using the Waffle Flower Holiday Label Maker stamp and die set. Remember you can make any sentiment label style by embossing white on black if you do not have the exact sentiment you need.
I absolutely love how this card turned out, and I’ll definitely be making more in this style! Mixing brands is such a lovely way to look at your stash with fresh eyes. The combination of dimensional die-cut trees and these sweet stamped characters makes for such a cute winter scene.
