Hi, Terri here! Today I’m sharing a festive Christmas accordion card made using the Concord & 9th Yuletide Lane product suite.

I began by die cutting all of my chosen elements from coloured cardstock. For this card, I decided to include five houses, which meant cutting multiple windows, doors, and other details. All of the elements were die cut using the Yuletide Lane Die Set. To add extra detail to my houses, I die cut banners, trees, holly, bunting, and snow to accessorise each one.
To decorate the trees, I used the small diamond and circle dies to cut coloured card. I added these to the trees along with stars and white gel pen dots to create the impression of falling snow. There’s even a small die that cuts three tree trunks in a single pass. I love how the decoration dies are grouped in multiples, which means fewer passes through the die-cutting machine and a much quicker crafting process.

Before constructing the card, I decided on the order in which the houses would sit. I knew I wanted to feature a large stamped sentiment from the Yuletide Lane Stamp Set across the middle houses. Since the centre house is mustard in colour, I chose a darker mustard ink to stamp the sentiment so it would stand out clearly. I also used the same stamp set to add extra detail to the houses, stamping a brick effect on some and striped patterns on others to resemble cladding/siding.
I carefully adhered all the houses together using a strong, wet glue and then added the windows and doors. I placed soft white snow mounds on the window ledges and front doors for a cozy winter effect. Some houses were decorated with festive wreaths, while others featured banners or sprigs of holly. The rooftops were enhanced with scalloped decorative pieces, cut from white card, adding charming detail. Finally, I applied Stickles Glitter Glue-Unicorn to all the snow, giving it a magical, sparkling finish.
I finished the card by adding delicate white gel pen highlights to the letters on the banners, giving them a crisp, festive touch.
